The readings for this week are Acts 2:1-21, Ezekiel 37:1-14, Psalm 104:24-34, 35b, Romans 8:22-27, and John 15:26-27; 16:4b-15. This week we discuss how ecological succession seems to be quite similar to the coming of the Holy Spirit. In order for the Advocate to come, there had to be some painful events that concluded with Jesus' assentation and leaving us. In order for us to get the full gift of him, he had to leave. We see this in nature, that succession is a natural and important part of ecosystems and without it, ecosystems would be vulnerable to any small change around them. Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
Remember to answer this week's question:
How have you allowed change to happen, so the advocate can come in and help? #FaithandSciPod
