4-9-23 - The Impossible becomes Possible!
Monday Apr 03, 2023
Monday Apr 03, 2023
The readings this week are Acts 10:34-43 or Jeremiah 31:1-6, Psalm 118:1-2, 14-24, Colossians 3:1-4 or Acts 10:34-43, and John 20:1-18 or Matthew 28:1-10. This week we look at how quickly we as people have made the impossible possible. We can see it simply in how we are now able to fly when 120 years ago flying was much different. Jesus Christ did this for us also in regards to our sin and we should make sure to see the power of how God made the impossible possible for us! Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
Remember to answer this week's question:
Where else have You seen the Impossible become Possible? #FaithandSciPod

4-2-23 - Crucifixion of the Environment?
Monday Mar 27, 2023
Monday Mar 27, 2023
The readings this week are Psalm 118:1-2, 19-29, and Matthew 21:1-11, or Isaiah 50:4-9a, Psalm 31:9-16, Philippians 2:5-11, and Matthew 26:14-27:66 or Matthew 27:11-54. This week we look at how quickly we forget and thus take things for granted. Do we not recognize how far we have come with our mobile technology over the last 15 years? If we can't recognize that, how are we to recognize the beauty of God's creation and actually see how we are destroying it? Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
Remember to answer this week's question:
Did We actually learn from the Crucifixion of Christ, or are We going to do it again with the Environment? #FaithandSciPod

3-26-23 - God’s Timing vs. Ours
Monday Mar 20, 2023
Monday Mar 20, 2023
The readings this week are Ezekiel 37:1-14, Psalm 130, Romans 8:6-11, and John 11:1-45. This week we look at how time is quite different to God then us. When God is looking at a long horizon that is over many generations, it is easy for us to miss the intent of what God is doing just looking at our here and now. It often takes a lot of time for us to understand it and we see this as a continuing trend with God. Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
Remember to answer this week's question:
When has there been a time that God's time and your time didn't line up and looking back you see that God's time was better? #FaithandSciPod

3-19-23 - Changing our Relationship
Monday Mar 13, 2023
Monday Mar 13, 2023
The readings this week are 1 Samuel 16:1-13, Psalm 23, Ephesians 5:8-14, and John 9:1-41. This week we look at ocean plastics and how they are affecting the ecosystems around us. Are we really going to stand by and allow this to happen and be happy with the results of business as usual? Or will we allow ourselves to be like Jesus and change the culture around us? Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.

3-12-23 - Don’t overlook ”Waste”
Monday Mar 06, 2023
Monday Mar 06, 2023
The readings this week are Exodus 17:1-7, Psalm 95, Romans 5:1-11, and John 4:5-42. This week we look at how easy it is for us to overlook things and to conveniently forget things. In doing this, it also makes it easy for us to miss the power of things going on or downplay the power of what God is doing or can do through us. Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
Remember to answer this week's question:

3-5-23 - Changing our Perspective
Monday Feb 27, 2023
Monday Feb 27, 2023
The readings this week are Genesis 12:1-4a, Psalm 121, Romans 4:1-5, 13-17, and John 3:1-17 or Matthew 17:1-9. This week we look at how perspective is so important to understand as it can be a bias on how we look at the world around us. Will we allow ourselves to see beyond our own perspective, so that we might glimpse what God has in store for us? Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.

2-26-23 -Reacting with God!
Monday Feb 20, 2023
Monday Feb 20, 2023
The readings this week are Genesis 2:15-17; 3:1-7, Psalm 32, Romans 5:12-19, and Matthew 4:1-11. This week we look at how we are weird to react in the ways that God wants us to. Our problem is that we often get in the way by overthinking. Can we allow ourselves to give up on our "Will" to allow "Grace" to enter in? Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
Remember to answer this week's question:
When was the last time that you trusted that God was in the instinct, instead of overthinking? #FaithandSciPod

2-19-23 - Change is Required!
Monday Feb 13, 2023
Monday Feb 13, 2023
The readings this week are Exodus 24:12-18, Psalm 2, or Psalm 99, 2 Peter 1:16-21, and Matthew 17:1-9. This week we look at how change is a part of the design that God has for everything outside of God. We often try to avoid this fact, but if you look out to nature and everything else God created, including ourselves, it changes. Why then do we fight it so much? Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.

2-12-23 - The Holy Ground of Sleep
Monday Feb 06, 2023
Monday Feb 06, 2023
The readings this week are Deuteronomy 30:15-20 or Sirach 15:15-20, Psalm 119:1-8, 1 Corinthians 3:1-9, and Matthew 5:21-37. This week we look at sleep and how our bodies crave sleep. Yet, we struggle in our modern society of putting aside enough time for us to get the sleep that our bodies crave so much. Do we do the same thing with God? Do we not allow ourselves to get to the messages that God has for us because we are not ready for the "solid food" that only God can provide? Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
Remember to answer this week's question:Have you ever looked at sleep as a holy thing? #FaithandSciPod

2-5-23 - Challenging our Faith and Science to Move Forward!
Monday Jan 30, 2023
Monday Jan 30, 2023
The readings this week are Isaiah 58:1-9a (9b-12), Psalm 112:1-9 (10), 1 Corinthians 2:1-12 (13-16), and Matthew 5:13-20. This week we look at how tradition can hold us back at times from being everything that God is wanting us to be. Are we allowing ourselves to let God lead us to the places that God is wanting us to be? Or would we rather go and hide from a challenge? Science is always up for a challenge and forces us to move forward, why can't faith be the same way? Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
Remember to answer this week's question:Where are we going to challenge and reimagine our faith? #FaithandSciPod
