1-22-23 - Growing Together into our Calling

The readings this week are Isaiah 9:1-4, Psalm 27:1, 4-9, 1 Corinthians 1:10-18, and Matthew 4:12-23.  This week we look at how we need to work together in order for us to live up to the calling God has for us.  This often also means that we have to get out of our own way and realize the opportunities that are in front of us.  Risk is going to be part of making the most of these opportunities but following God's plan is not for the faint of heart. 1-15-23 - Come and See what You will Discover

The readings this week are Isaiah 42:1-9, Psalm 29, Acts 10:34-43, and Matthew 3:13-17.  This week we look at the power within water in all it's forms.  Yet, it also is used to clean and sustain us while being a symbol of God's forgiveness for us.  Quite amazing when you think about it.  Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.

5th Birthday of the Podcast!

12-25-22 - Observe but don’t Overlook!

The readings this week are either from Proper 1, [Isaiah 9:2-7, Psalm 96, Titus 2:11-14, and Luke 2:1-14, (15-20)] or Proper 2, [Isaiah 62:6-12, Psalm 97, Titus 3:4-7, and Luke 2:(1-7), 8-20] or Proper 3 [Isaiah 52:7-10, Psalm 98, Hebrews 1:1-4, (5-12), and John 1:1-14].  This week we discuss how it is easy to miss simple things or overlook them, but we see with God, this is exactly the way that God like to work.  This means we should probably become more accustom to them then.  Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
