3-26-23 - God’s Timing vs. Ours

The readings this week are Ezekiel 37:1-14, Psalm 130, Romans 8:6-11, and John 11:1-45.  This week we look at how time is quite different to God then us.  When God is looking at a long horizon that is over many generations, it is easy for us to miss the intent of what God is doing just looking at our here and now.  It often takes a lot of time for us to understand it and we see this as a continuing trend with God. 2-26-23 -Reacting with God!

2-12-23 - The Holy Ground of Sleep

The readings this week are Deuteronomy 30:15-20 or Sirach 15:15-20, Psalm 119:1-8, 1 Corinthians 3:1-9, and Matthew 5:21-37.  This week we look at sleep and how our bodies crave sleep.  Yet, we struggle in our modern society of putting aside enough time for us to get the sleep that our bodies crave so much.  Do we do the same thing with God?  Do we not allow ourselves to get to the messages that God has for us because we are not ready for the "solid food" that only God can provide?
