The readings this week are Acts 7:55-60, Psalm 31:1-5, 15-16, 1 Peter 2:2-10, and John 14:1-14.  This week we look at how succession is a part of everyday life in nature.  When Jesus starts to prepare the disciples for his leaving they resist.  Are we going to allow for natural succession to happen in our lives? 4-30-22 - Bats and Penguins Trust, Why Can’t We?

The readings this week are Acts 2:42-47, Psalm 23, 1 Peter 2:19-25, and John 10:1-10.  This week we look at how trust is a major part of creation even though as humans we struggle with this idea.  We can see bats and penguins doing huge amounts of trust in their daily lives.  Do we do the same with our faith with God? 4-23-23 - A Time for Metamorphosis

4-16-23 - Quantum Leaps vs Classic Understanding

The readings this week are Acts 2:14a, 22-32, Psalm 16, 1 Peter 1:3-9, and John 20:19-31.  This week we look at how quantum computers are coming quickly and have the possibility of being able to help us solve problems that recently seemed almost impossible to do.  In the same breath, many of us have a hard time understanding how classical computing works.  Is this similar to what was happening with Thomas when he had his doubts about Jesus?  Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.

4-9-23 - The Impossible becomes Possible!

The readings this week are Acts 10:34-43 or Jeremiah 31:1-6, Psalm 118:1-2, 14-24, Colossians 3:1-4 or Acts 10:34-43, and John 20:1-18 or Matthew 28:1-10.  This week we look at how quickly we as people have made the impossible possible.  We can see it simply in how we are now able to fly when 120 years ago flying was much different.  Jesus Christ did this for us also in regards to our sin and we should make sure to see the power of how God made the impossible possible for us!  Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.

4-2-23 - Crucifixion of the Environment?

3-26-23 - God’s Timing vs. Ours

The readings this week are Ezekiel 37:1-14, Psalm 130, Romans 8:6-11, and John 11:1-45.  This week we look at how time is quite different to God then us.  When God is looking at a long horizon that is over many generations, it is easy for us to miss the intent of what God is doing just looking at our here and now.  It often takes a lot of time for us to understand it and we see this as a continuing trend with God.
