6-28-20 - The Power of Welcoming Others In!
Sunday Feb 06, 2022
Sunday Feb 06, 2022
The readings for this week are Jeremiah 28:5-9, ( or Genesis 22:1-14) Psalm 89:1-4, 15-18, Romans 6:12-23, and Matthew 10:40-42. This week we look at the power of a welcome. It is through that welcome that we are the hands and feet of Christ, and are welcoming others into joining us, in a holy moment with God. Nature has examples of this, but how well are we doing this? Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
Remember to answer this week's question:
When has welcoming someone, benefited not only them, but you in your life? #faithandscipodcast

6-21-20 - Persecution is Part of Our Christian Character
Sunday Feb 06, 2022
Sunday Feb 06, 2022
The readings for this week are Jeremiah 20:7-13, ( or Genesis 21:8-21) Psalm 69:7-10, [11-15], 16-18, Romans 6:1b-11, and Matthew 10:24-39. This week look at persecution. There have been many people of faith and in science who have been persecuted against for their ideas only later to be found out they were correct. Being a Christian, doesn't mean that things are going to be easy, but that doesn't mean they are not worth doing. Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.

Sunday Feb 06, 2022
Sunday Feb 06, 2022
The readings for this week are Exodus 19:2-8a, ( or Genesis 18:1-15 [21:1-7]) Psalm 100, Romans 5:1-8, and Matthew 9:35-10:8 [9-23]. This week look at slowing and being observant. We often are so quick to try to fix things that we often miss some of the blessings along the way. Is slowing down part of the answer? Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
Remember to answer this week's question:
When was the last time you really slowed down and studied the environment in which you are in? Have you noticed things that have disappeared? Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.Remember to answer this week's question:
