2-2-20 - We Should be Expecting Change!

The podcast will be the bottom link at the bottom of the email.  The readings for this week for the Presentation of our Lord are Malachi 3:1-4, Psalm 84, Hebrews 2:14-18, and Luke 2:22-40.  The readings for this week for the Fourth Sunday after Epiphany are Micah 6:1-8, Psalm 15, 1 Corinthians 1:18-31, and Matthew 5:1-12. This week we look at how God challenged the expectations for what the world had of him.  This forced us to change the expectations of who God is. We have seen this is science and technology throughout our lives, but are we doing that in our faith lives and church lives? 12-29-19 - We All Flee at some Point!

The readings for this week are Isaiah 63:7-9, Psalm 148, Hebrews 2:10-18, and Matthew 2:13-23.  This week we look at one of the most human experience that we get of Jesus; Jesus as a refugee.  This is something that has happened quite frequently in history that people, especially scientists, have to flee to continue doing what they are doing.  We also see this in nature in something called migration.
