5-16-21 - Bio-Diversity comes from Transition/Succession
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
The readings for this week are Acts 1:15-17, 21-26, Psalm 1, 1 John 5:9-13, and John 17:6-19. This week we look at the need for transition and succession. If we never allow for succession to happen, the change is drastic and quickly and can leave deep scars. If we allow succession to happen, the change is more gradual and allows for the most biodiversity. Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.Remember to answer this week's question:How are you dealing with the transition?
What is giving you hope in the transition?
What are the things that you're really excited about in the transition? #faithandscipodcast

5-9-21 - Abide with the Overlooked!
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
The readings for this week are Acts 10:44-48, Psalm 98, 1 John 5:1-6, and John 15:9-17. This week we look at what possibly one of the most overlooked resources around us...Nature. How often do we overlook this resource even though we depend on it. We get into some of numbers of the impact this overlooked resource. Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
Remember to answer this week's question:How well are we tuned into the noise outside of us? (Us being defined as human beings?) How well are you tuned into the tongues outside the human tongue? #faithandscipodcast

5-2-21 - Faith in a Vineyard!
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
The readings for this week are Acts 8:26-40, Psalm 22:25-31, 1 John 4:7-21, and John 15:1-8. This week we look at what things are overlooked in the "I am the vine, you are the branches" since many are not vineyard growers. Comparing the faith to a vine is fascinating. Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.

Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
The readings for this week are Acts 4:5-12, Psalm 23, 1 John 3:16-24, and John 10:11-18. This week we discuss the need for each other and why Jesus uses the image of a flock when referring to us. We are a flock and too often we look to ways that keep us apart then the things that will be helpful if we work together. Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.

Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
The readings for this week are Acts 3:12-19, Psalm 4, 1 John 3:1-7, and Luke 24:36b-48. This week we discuss a huge shakeup that could be happening in the physics world. This ability to be open to hearing and thinking about the world in a new way is not that much different then what Christ is calling us to do in the resurrection. Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.

Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
The readings for this week are Acts 4:32-35, Psalm 133, 1 John 1:1-2:2, and John 20:19-31. This week we compare ourselves to a group of elephants! We need youth and elder wisdom to help guide us as a herd to God's word. We need each other to get through our times of doubt to move forward into the light. Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.

4-4-21 - We Need Struggle in Order to Produce Fruit!
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
The readings for this week are Isaiah 25:6-9 (or Acts 10:34-43) Psalm 118:1-2, 14-24, 1 Corinthians 15:1-11 (or Acts 10:34-43) and John 20:1-18 or Mark 16:1-8. This week we see the end of the struggle and realize the fruit that came from the struggle. We see that even in nature the struggle is essential for growth. We all need to struggle and not to quickly jump to the end. This is a major part of the story! Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
Remember to answer this week's question:How are you not going to rush the struggle? How are you going to live in the struggle? #faithandscipodcast

Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.Remember to answer this week's question:Have you stopped and honestly contemplated the impact of Jesus's death on your life?

The readings for this week are Jeremiah 31:31-34, Psalm 51:1-12, Hebrews 5:5-10, and John 12:20-33. This week we look at the human condition that we miss the long range focus of what is being done.
